Rees Linn, CMI

Rees Linn joined SALT Solutions in 2015 after working for nearly a decade in a Big 4 environment, where he developed his consulting expertise working primarily with healthcare and manufacturing organizations. Through his career, Rees has built the skillset needed to enable him to gather the information needed to understand client concerns, build solutions, and communicate customized sales and use tax advice to his clients. His experience has allowed him to foster relationships with various contacts at multiple state agencies, fortune 500 companies, and law firms that allow him to stay abreast of key issues facing businesses at a time when states are aggressively pursuing additional revenue streams. Rees works tirelessly to create a culture of teamwork and collaboration within SALT Solutions to enable his staff to develop winning strategies and ideas in the areas of reverse audits, audit defense, tax matrices and research, nexus studies, compliance, and voluntary disclosures. Rees has obtained the designation of CMI in sales tax from the Institute for Professionals in Taxation.
